Tauranga Youth Development Team (TYDT) provide specialist services that advise and inform organisations, services and projects, specifically around youth issues. TYDT's goal is to improve the wellbeing of young people in the Bay of Plenty (BOP) and provide them with youth development opportunities that are participatory and allow youth to influence change in services, provision and their community. We aim to furnish organisations with appropriate information relating to the needs of youth that is specifically related to the services that those organisations provide, a bespoke provision of relative information.

Our organisation will be the lead influencer and go to organisation for matters to do with youth development, we will have significantly shaped our environment here in the Bay and put Bay of Plenty on the map, being a region that is active in positive youth development.”
